Introduction

Hydrangea ‘Variegated’ is a handsome variegated deciduous shrub with bright green foliage surrounded by white margins. Rounded clusters of pinkish white summer flowers hold within the striking foliage.

Use and Management

The variegated hydrangea is ideal for borders, accent or mass plantings where it adds splashes of bold color to shady landscapes. It will tolerate partial shade.

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Provide well-drained soil, rich in organic matter. Feed with an acid fertilizer before spring growth. Prune to shape after flowering.
